Information Security Officer

The Information Security Officer role is an emerging role which has a requirement for the candidate to have a balanced mindset between cybersecurity and business to ensure through understanding the business process and create the balance of both to enable the business.

The main objective of this role is to apply the Banks wide cyber & information security policies and procedure along with the regulatory compliance frameworks and the industry best practices. In addition, it will require apply the knowledge into the field and contribute into implementing and improving the cybersecurity practices and processes.

Moreover, the role is expected to have the mindset of problem solving and recommending solution with a balanced approach between cybersecurity and business.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Collaborate with IT and other department to ensure cybersecurity measures and controls are being implemented within the organization.
• Ensuring the adherence to the regulatory requirements through the implementation of cyber security framework such as PCI-DSS.
• Arranging and conducting penetration testing and cyber security assessment.
• Collaborate with IT Department for vulnerability & Patch management as per the organization policies and procedure.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders for business continuity activities along with day-to-day activities.
• Supporting on environment monitoring and providing the required support for an incident response.

Areas of Knowledge, Qualification and Experience

• 0 -2 years’ experience.
• Worked in a Fintech / Banking Environment.
• University degree with a Computer Science / Cyber Security background.
• Professional Certification in cybersecurity field.
• PCI-DSS Implementer Training is a plus.
• ISO23001 LA certificate / CBCI is a plus.
