Job Purpose:

Receive and screen the credit applications along with the supporting documents and check the completeness and validity of documents, in line with the bank’s policies and procedures.
 

Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:

  • Call customers to follow up on pending applications to assist with any required documentations.
  • Review the submitted application and supporting documents for completeness and validity against the product requirements within a defined SLA.
  • Ensure all information needed for the products are obtained.
  • Contact the applicant in instances where the information is incomplete or additional documents are required.
  • Verify the needed information for product requested by the customer per the bank’s defined processes and scripts.
  • Access all relevant internal systems such as Credit Reference Bureau, Wathiq etc to obtain details to assist with completing customers request.
  • Develop and complete the checklist of application, documents, and comments before processing the application.
  • Develop and prepare MIS of application statuses.
  • Make outbound calls to customers informing them of the application progress and status.
  • Reconcile documents and identify discrepancies and variances.

Experience:

  • Experience in a banking /financial services environment is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree
